Become a blessing detective

If you don't follow Nick Santo on IG, you probably should.

He's a motivational speaker with no legs and only one arm —

and he's the happiest person we may have ever seen.

The truth is, I’ve trained myself.

What’s wrong or missing is always available to focus on, but so are the blessings, gifts, and strengths.

That line hit me like a truck.

Because most of us move through life like problem detectives —

we walk around with our little mental magnifying glass...

focusing on everything that could be better in our lives.

But what if — like Nick — we became blessing detectives?

You woke up today - that's a gift.

There's a roof over your head - that's a gift.

You have people who love you - that's a gift.

The funny thing about blessings is...

they appear the moment you decide to notice them.
