why introverts struggle with happiness

We're terrible at predicting what makes us happy.

I’m an introvert — so the idea of talking to a stranger?

Honestly, it makes me want to vomit.

Especially in the morning.

But get this:

In a study mentioned in The Good Life, researchers asked commuters to predict how they'd feel after striking up a conversation with a stranger on the train.

Most said it would be awkward, boring, or draining.

Then they were told to actually do it.

The result?

Almost everyone felt noticeably happier afterward.

And it kind of makes sense...

We think happiness comes from staying in, checking out, and binge-watching our favorite shows.

But how often do we feel better after connecting with another human being — even just for a moment?

So today, I’m throwing down a challenge:

👉 Talk to a stranger.👉 Ask how their day’s going.👉 Notice how you feel afterward.

You might just surprise yourself.
