Worrying ≠ Prepared
“There’s too much to do and not enough time!”
Sound familiar?
That was me last week—
Overthinking. Drowning in to-dos.
And for some reason, I thought worrying was helping.
Like if I didn’t stress about it, I wasn’t taking life seriously enough.
Then, mid-spiral, I remembered a quote I used to love:
“We suffer more in imagination than in reality.” – Seneca
Then another:
“Tell me what problem you have in this moment.” – Eckhart Tolle
And finally:
“Stop thinking… and end your problems.” – Lao Tzu
That’s when it all clicked:
Worrying doesn’t make you more prepared...
It paralyzes you.
It's fear disguised as "responsibility."
And the wild part?
99% of what I worry about never happens anyway.
So this week, instead of spiraling, I'm going to:
Breathe.Prioritize.Do one thing at a time. And do it with a smile.
