You hold the pen.
“I’m a loser. I gave it everything I had… and it still wasn’t enough.”
That was the story playing in my head after watching our elimination on The Amazing Race this week.
I went to bed feeling like crap.
But the next morning, I reminded myself of something simple but powerful:
Life is a story — and I hold the pen.
I could choose to write the story of a loser…
Or the story of someone who waited 7 years, never gave up, made it on the race, and showed the world what real brotherhood looks like.
Both versions are technically true.
But one of them lifts me up. The other drags me down.
In every hard moment, we get to decide:
Do I want to be the victim in this story?
Or do I pick up the pen… and become the hero.
